Harrison Street Paving Renovation

Project Update
Paving completed on Harrison from Main to First streets.  Two blocks additional blocks are scheduled to be ground and paved this week from 2nd to 4th streets.  Curb Ramps completed and damaged concrete-street base repaired up to 8th Street. 

Project Information
Under the direction of the Department of Public Works, Esquivel Grading and Paving, the project contractor, is renovating Harrison Street between Main and 8th streets, excluding the blocks between 1st & 2nd streets and 5th & 6th streets. The 90-day resurfacing project began in late March and includes repairs or upgrades to intersection curb ramps, ten-inch-concrete bus pads, concrete curbs, several sewer lines and eight-inch-concrete street base. In the final phase, the contractor will grind off the old asphalt, then resurface each block with a fresh layer of asphalt pavement.

Location
The project is located on Harrison Street from Main to 8th Streets, with the exception of the blocks between 1st to 2nd streets and 5th and 6th streets.

Duration
The project is scheduled for completion within 90 Days.
