SERIES OF DIRECTOR’S HEARINGS BEGIN
TO CONSIDER RESIDENTIAL REFUSE RATE CHANGES
San Francisco, Ca – A series of Public Works Director’s Hearings are scheduled to begin on February 8, 2006. Sunset Scavenger Company and Golden Gate Disposal and Recycling Company are seeking a refuse rate increase beginning July 1, 2006. The hearings are being held to review the Rate Application submitted by Norcal Waste Systems, Inc. Based on the hearings and a Director’s Report, the City and County of San Francisco will approve residential garbage rate changes, which will be set for the next five years.
