STATEMENT FROM PUBLIC WORKS REGARDING THE RETRIEVAL OF ITEMS COLLECTED FROM JUSTIN HERMAN PLAZA

San Francisco, CA—

“This morning the Department of Public Works collected items that were left behind from the OccupySF encampment at Justin Herman Plaza. Items and belongings with the exception of tents that were collected can be retrieved from the Department of Public Works Operations Yard at 2323 Cesar Chavez, enter on Kansas Street, starting at 1 pm to 5 pm today. 

DPW’s Operations Yard will continue to open throughout the week during normal working hours, from 8 am – 3 pm, for people to retrieve their belongings.”
