Project Description

San Francisco Public Works has contracted Ronan Construction, Inc. to deliver the Various Locations Pavement Renovation No. 82 and Sewer Replacement project.

This multi-location infrastructure project will improve roadway conditions, pedestrian accessibility, drainage and sewer infrastructure at several locations throughout San Francisco. Construction is anticipated to begin in November 2026 and continue for approximately 470 calendar days.

Project Locations

Work is planned along portions of the following streets:

• Sanchez Street
• 20th Street
• Toland Street
• Oakdale Avenue
• Carroll Avenue
• Gilman Avenue
• Ingalls Street
• Innes Avenue
• Topeka Avenue
• Van Dyke Avenue

• Jennings Street

   

Additional improvements will be completed at selected intersections throughout the project area.

Planned Improvements

The project includes:

• Pavement renovation and roadway base repairs
• Sewer replacement and rehabilitation
• Drainage and catch basin improvements
• Construction and upgrades of accessible curb ramps
• Sidewalk, curb and gutter repairs associated with the work
• Restoration of roadway striping and pavement markings
• Utility coordination and other related infrastructure improvements

What to Expect During Construction

Construction will be completed in phases, and work will not occur at every location simultaneously. Temporary traffic changes, lane closures, parking restrictions and localized detours may be required as work progresses.

Pedestrian access will be maintained whenever possible. The project team will coordinate access to residences, businesses and other properties located near active construction areas.

Advance construction notices will be distributed before work begins on each block. Schedules are subject to change due to weather, unforeseen site conditions, utility conflicts and coordination with other City agencies.
