San Francisco Public Works (Public Works), a department of the City and County of San Francisco (City), seeks to award one grant to a fully established 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in San Francisco through the evaluation and selection process as described in the RFP.
Pressure Washing Workforce Development Program: $400,000 (Maximum Budget Request)
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: San Francisco Public Works seeks one nonprofit partner to support workforce participants in developing careers beyond the program by connecting them to employment and apprenticeship opportunities at Public Works, other public agencies, nonprofit partners, and private companies. Workforce participants will provide pressure washing services on designated sidewalks and hotspots in San Francisco to ensure clean citywide alleys, sidewalks, and rights-of-way. The Maximum Budget Request is $400,000 for a term of 12 months with an option to extend for a maximum of 12 additional months. The program must start no later than July 1, 2026.

Workforce participants will monitor sixteen (16) or more permanent and temporary restroom facilities in the City to ensure safe and clean public restroom facilities. The Maximum Budget Request is $5,199,594 for a term of 12 months with an option to extend for a maximum of 12 additional months. The program must start no later than July 1, 2026.
