San Francisco Public Works has contracted with Esquivel Grading and Paving, Inc. to improve sewer utilities and renovate the roadway at various locations in San Francisco as part of the Various Locations Pavement Renovation and Sewer Replacement Project No. 85 (VL85). We will be performing this work in the Western Addition, Marina, Cow Hollow Laurel Heights, Outer Richmond, Haight Ashbury and Pacific Heights neighborhoods. 

We have inspected the sewer facilities of all the blocks listed below, and will be either re-lining or replacing portions of those that have shown to be wearing down.  Re-lining these pipes now will prevent possible collapse of the sewer mains and pavement in the future. Sewer service will not be interrupted during the construction.  

This project will include

 sewer main re-lining, curb ramp installation, street base repairs and repaving. Work hours will vary by location, however, typical working hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Weekend work is allowed but has not been scheduled at this time.

Street resurfacing work will be taking place on the following blocks. Those in bold will be receiving sewer lining work. Those that are both bold and underlined will be receiving a sewer main replacement, which requires more extensive excavation and longer work duration.

• Mayfair Drive from Heather Avenue to Collins Street
• Octavia Street from Gough Street to Franklin Street
• Pacific Avenue from Baker Street to Broderick Street
• Steiner Street from Chestnut Street to Lombard Street
• Webster Street from Greenwich Street to Filbert Street
• Webster Street from Ivy Street to Fell Street
