Public Works will consider improvements at the intersection of Geary Boulevard and Park Presidio Boulevard. This project aims to provide a safer and more inviting environment for Muni passengers, pedestrians, runners, and vehicular traffic at the intersection of Geary Boulevard and Park Presidio Boulevard. Our goal is to design and construct improvements and features that reflect the needs of the community and reinforce neighborhood identity. Join us for a public meeting with District Supervisor Sandra Fewer, Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the SFPD Richmond Station, 461 6th Avenue, 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
We are conducting outreach to Richmond District residents, businesses, neighborhood groups and others. Our goal is to design and construct improvements and features to reflect the desires of the community most impacted while reinforcing the neighborhood identity. Let us know what you think about these potential improvements. Participate in our survey.
Geary Boulevard provides one of the City’s most convenient ways to get from Ocean Beach to the Civic Center area and beyond. Park Presidio Boulevard connects 19th Avenue to the Golden Gate Bridge. This highly traveled intersection is used by vehicular traffic, Muni buses, pedestrians, bike riders and runners, residents and visitors.
