Reason(s) for Tree Removal: Trees are in significant decline despite efforts by property owner to revive. Significant dieback with 5% live crown. One site is replantable while the other is too close to the adjacent site and is not replantable.

Reason(s) for Tree Removal: Uplift across entire path of travel ahead of significant grade drop. City has attempted to shave down uplift, but the sidewalk is too degrade. Tree is not expected to survive necessary root pruning to repair sidewalk. Location is replantable.

Reason(s) for Tree Removal: Necessary sidewalk repair will require root-pruning which is expected to destabilize tree. City has attempted to shave down uplift, but the sidewalk uplift is too great. Various Locations Pavement Renovation #90 & Sewer Replacement Project

San Francisco Public Works and the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission have partnered to make infrastructure improvements at several locations throughout the city. Public Works will manage the project during construction. We’ve hired A. Ruiz Construction, Inc., to complete the work.

 

The entire project is anticipated to take 16 months to complete. Construction is scheduled to start at the first location in August 2026. You will receive a notice in the mail a few weeks before work is scheduled to start near your home.
