REPAVING WORK AT NIGHT ON THE EMBARCADERO
Motorists Should Expect Delays During Construction
San Francisco, CA – Motorists may experience nighttime delays on The Embarcadero through Nov. 9, while Public Works crews perform overnight paving work on the deteriorating roadway.
Due to the high volume of traffic during the day, construction will take place at night, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., Sundays through Thursdays. The work stretches along The Embarcadero between Broadway and Folsom streets.
Crews will maintain one lane of traffic in each direction during construction; cyclists and pedestrians will be allowed access at all times.
Public Works crews and contractors have paved a record 3,800-plus blocks over the past five years to make the roads safer and smoother for all users.
