Design Services

We generate construction contract documents for more than $300 million in city projects annually. The majority of these projects include city-owned facilities and streets and rights-of-way. We are also hired by client agencies to plan, design and construct city projects. Departments include the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, the Municipal Transportation Agency, Recreation and Parks Department,  Mayor’s Office on Disability, the Port of San Francisco, San Francisco Redevelopment Agency, San Francisco Unified School District, and the San Francisco Public Library. Our area of expertise spans the civil, mechanical, electrical, structural and geo-technical engineering disciplines, and landscape architecture.

Program Management

Many city construction projects are managed through our programs whose purpose is to achieve desired results through the strategic management of individual projects. We manage the street resurfacing, curb ramp, Great Streets, and roadway structures programs.  Each program is responsible for funding, planning, designing and overall construction of more than 200 projects every year.
