Various Locations (VL) Traffic Signal Improvement Project
Scheduling period shown: August 17–September 14, 2026
The Contract 35 Traffic Signal Upgrade work schedule, revised August 25, 2026, includes traffic signal foundations, conduit and pull-box installation, temporary restoration, and sewer work at several San Francisco intersections. Work is scheduled to progress in phases beginning in August 2026.

Project Description
San Francisco Public Works has contracted Ronan Construction, Inc. to deliver the Various Locations Pavement Renovation No. 82 and Sewer Replacement project.
This multi-location infrastructure project will improve roadway conditions, pedestrian accessibility, drainage and sewer infrastructure at several locations throughout San Francisco. Construction is anticipated to begin in November 2026 and continue for approximately 470 calendar days.

Reason(s) for Tree Removal: Tree leans into public right of way at a severe angle, blocking sidewalk access. Pruning will not alleviate blockage. Large wound along trunk has decay exacerbated by horizontal exposure to rain. Location is replantable.
