San Francisco Public Works is making improvements along Diamond Heights Boulevard between Portola and Sussex streets to improve pedestrian safety and stormwater management. The project includes pavement renovation, curb construction, sidewalk replacement, and sewer and water managment improvements. The work will be completed in a series of phases, see the sample sequence below:
 

San Francisco Public Works is partnering with the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency to improve stormwater management and walking and biking conditions to the Lower Haight and Alamo Square neighborhoods. The project include curb ramp upgrades, bioretention area landscape installations, asphalt paving, permeable unit paver installations and drainage work. 
 

Bayview Opera House Renovation

The $5.7 million renovation of the historic Bayview Opera House significantly improved ADA access throughout the landmark site and transformed the adjacent plaza into a welcoming community gathering space for music, performing arts, and cultural programming.
