Reason(s) for Tree Removal: The subject tree has evidence of multiple past failures damaging surrounding properties and creating unsafe conditions. The area is a high pedestrian area close to a nearby grade school. There is a large union at the trunk indicating poor structure. The crown of this tree is unbalanced due to a large failure in the past. This can be seen on the right side of the tree where there is a large gap within the main stem. My professional recommendation is that this tree be removed and replaced with a more appropriate species for the area. I would like to note that the area has high wind and is open. The tree will continue to decline structural/supplemental pruning will not benefit the tree anymore.
