SF Public Works – VL 71A Update

• Sewer lining work is scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Leidesdorff Street between California Street and Halleck Alley.
• No major impacts or street trenching are anticipated. The only expected impact is temporary parking restrictions during working hours.
• Brick replacement work at Grant Avenue and Commercial Street is still pending

⏰ Work Hours

Monday through Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Work may begin as early as 7:00 AM

• Traffic lane restrictions and tow-away enforcement begin at 8:00 AM

• Weekend work is allowed; however, none is anticipated at this time

*Schedules may change due to weather or unforeseen conditions.

🚗 Traffic, Parking & Access

• Temporary lane closures and traffic delays should be expected

• Driveway access will be maintained, though brief delays may occur while crews work nearby

• Please observe posted “No Parking / Tow Away” signs on construction barricades for exact dates and times

• Allow extra travel time during construction hours

🔊 Noise & Construction Activity

Residents may notice:

• Construction noise from grinding and paving equipment

• Increased truck traffic in the area

• Dust and vibrations during grinding operations

These impacts are temporary and necessary to complete the work efficiently and safely.
