Various Locations Sewer Replacement and Pavement Renovation No. 41

San Francisco Public Works has contracted with Michael O’Shaughnessy Construction, Inc. to install new sewer utilities and renovate the roadway at various locations in District 10 as part of the Various Locations Sewer Replacement and Pavement Renovation No. 41 Project. Pavement Renovation and Sewer replacement work will occur between February 2020 and January 2021*.

"Hairball" Widening & Regrade Project, Segments F/G

Project Description
San Francisco Public Works, in partnership with the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) and the San Francisco County Transportation Authority, is undertaking improvements to the bike and pedestrian pathway in the area known as the “Hairball”—a complex network of bridges and ramps connecting to Highway 101 at the intersection of Cesar Chavez Street, Bayshore Boulevard, and Potrero Avenue.
 

New SFFD Station 49 (Ambulance Deployment Facility Project)

The new 58,451-square-foot facility, located at 2241 Jerrold Avenue in the Bayview, stands four stories tall and replaces the previous Emergency Medical Services headquarters, which was located in San Francisco Fire Department’s logistics warehouse at 1415 Evans Avenue. The new headquarters has state-of-the-art technologies designed to meet the specialized needs of Emergency Medical Services staff and will allow first responders to better prepare their ambulances for deployment when responding to calls for emergencies and health crises.
 

Evans Avenue Sewer Replacement and Pavement Renovation

Project Description:

San Francisco Public Works hired M Squared Construction, Inc., to complete sewer main replacement and pavement renovation work along Evans Ave. between Cesar Chavez St. and Hunters Point Blvd. In addition to sewer main replacement work, the project included curb ramp installation, street base repairs and repaving. 
 

22nd Street Green Connection

The 22nd Street Green Connection project establishes a green, welcoming link from Illinois Street—home to the Blue Greenway, Bay Trail, and future housing and parks—to the 22nd Street Caltrain station at Iowa Street, and eventually up the hill to the Potrero Hill Playground and Recreation Center. 
 

Bayview Opera House

Bayview Opera House Renovation

The $5.7 million renovation of the historic Bayview Opera House significantly improved ADA access throughout the landmark site and transformed the adjacent plaza into a welcoming community gathering space for music, performing arts, and cultural programming.
 

9 San Bruno Muni Forward Project

As part of Muni Forward, SFMTA is implementing transit priority and pedestrian safety improvements along the 9 San Bruno route that will make it safer to walk, increase the reliability of service, and enhance the customer experience—on and off the bus. The 9 San Bruno Muni Froward Project will consist of constructing new transit islands, bus bulbs, bus pads and curb ramps and all associated work.
