NEW NIGHT MARKET OPENS FRIDAY 

Spend Friday evenings under twinkling lights in UN Plaza – enjoy food, live entertainment and more

San Francisco, CA – Public Works, the Market Street Association and Ansanelli Productions announce a new Night Market at United Nations Plaza every Friday from Sept. 5 through Oct. 24, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Night Market will feature food, drinks, entertainment and local artisans to provide San Francisco residents, workers and visitors a fun and festive urban evening experience.

Located at UN Plaza, the Night Market will be a destination event that showcases the plaza’s public space possibilities and historic grandeur.

The Night Market is part of the City’s Make Your Market initiative that is revitalizing Market Street’s sidewalks and plazas. In partnership with community-based organizations, the City is aiming to make San Francisco’s busiest street more beautiful, livable and vibrant through creative experiments that engage and serve the public.

The Night Market is produced by the Market Street Association and Ansanelli Productions in partnership with Public Works, San Francisco Beautiful, United Playaz, the City’s Office of Civic Engagement and Immigrant Affairs, Office of Economic and Workforce Development, Invest in Neighborhoods, Recreation and Park Department, Central Market Community Benefit District, North of Market Tenderloin Community Benefit District and several community organizations.
