Night Market Glows Friday at UN Plaza

Free party in the plaza – Friday, July 24, 5-9 p.m.

San Francisco, CA – The Night Market at UN Plaza has become the place to spend Friday nights in the center of the City – neighborhood folks, local workers, visitors and those looking for fun, free evening entertainment gather together in the historic plaza.

Held every fourth Friday through October (July 24, Aug. 28, Sept. 25 and Oct. 23), the Night Market has live entertainment, great food and drink, and local artists and vendors. Together they make UN Plaza the liveliest spot in the city.

On July 24, the market will include 7-plus food vendors, including Halal Guys, Curry Up Now, Oh Miso Hungry and Moffle Waffle. Free live entertainment will be provided by rock band No Exit, DJ Twelvz and the San Francisco Chinese Folk Music Group. Plus, people who sign the Giant Sweep pledge at the Friday Night Market promising to be a good steward of the City will have a chance to win an iPad mini and other great prizes.

There also will be an array of local vendors, artists and games suitable for both children and adults. Bring the whole family -- kids can play nerf dart tag, bubble ball games and bounce in the jumpy house, while adults can sip craft cocktails and play a giant game of jenga and corn hole.
