Better Market Street Shutdown
To allow construction crews to work in the roadway and in the Muni trackway, we will be shutting down Market Street between 5th and 8th Streets from 5:00am on Saturday, October 14th through Saturday, October 28th. During this period, we'll be temporarily moving above-ground transit off Market Street between 3rd Street and 10th Street to avoid the construction zone.
Various Locations Pavement Renovation and Sewer Replacement No. 59
San Francisco Public Works has contracted with Michael O’Shaughnessy Construction Inc. to install new sewer utilities and renovate the roadway at various locations in San Francisco as part of the Various Locations Pavement Renovation and Sewer Replacement Project No. 59 (VL59). We will be performing this work in the Central Bayview, Twin Peaks, Eureka Valley and Duboce Park neighborhoods.

Project Description
Lakeview Stairs Project
The Lakeview Stairs Project is a community driven project that will improve pedestrian safety and accessibility by installing a new stairway that connects Summit Street from Thrift Street to Lakeview Avenue. Improvements may include new steps, landscaping and pedestrian lighting.
Innes Avenue Sidewalk Improvement Project
The Innes Avenue Sidewalk Improvement Project will improve pedestrian safety and accessibility along Innes Avenue, between Arelious Walker and Donahue Street. Improvements include construction of 6 ADA compliant curb ramps, 400 feet of new pedestrian safety rockslide catchment fence, and nearly 450 linear feet of new sidewalk, the majority of which is entirely missing.

As-Needed Curb Ramp Construction for Street Resurfacing Program No.7
San Francisco Public Works has hired Precision Engineering, Inc. to construct new curb ramps at intersections throughout San Francisco. This project will include demolishing existing curb ramps & curbs, constructing new, ADA-compliant curb ramps and reconstructing adjacent areas of the sidewalk and curb lane.Work will be taking place at the following intersections:
Junipero Serra Boulevard Pavement Renovation & Sewer Replacement Project
Project Description
San Francisco Public Works and the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission have partnered to complete infrastructure improvements on Junipero Serra Blvd. as part of the Junipero Serra Boulevard Pavement Renovation & Sewer Replacement Project. The project limits are Junipero Serra Boulevard between Sloat Blvd. and 19th Avenue. Our partnership allows us to minimize impacts to the public by consolidating our work whenever possible.
