Project Information
Battery Street is a major thoroughfare in Districts 3 with MUNI route. The project work scope consists of sewer replacement, pavement renovation along Battery Streets, between Market to California Clay . to Pacific, and Vallejo to Lombard Streets. Work includes asphalt grinding and paving; construction of concrete base, curb, sidewalk, curb ramps in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act guidelines, and traffic striping . The Department of Public Works is responsible for the design and for overseeing the construction of this project.
When complete, this thoroughfare will be renovated and provide a smooth and safe environment for people that travel and share this roadway.
