Bush Street Pavement Renovation Project, Phase One
Project Information
Bush Street is a major thoroughfare in Districts two and and fivewith is a bus route. The work for this heavily travelled roadway consist of pavement renovation on Euclid Aveue and Bush Street The work scope also includes asphalt grinding and paving; construction of concrete base, curb, sidewalk, curb ramps in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act guidelines, and traffic striping. The Department of Public Works is responsible for the design and overseeing the construction of this project.
Location
Euclid Avenue from Masonic Avenue to Presidio avenue, and Bush Street from Presidio Avenue to Pierce St., Steiner St. to Buchanan St., Laguna St. to Octavia St., and Franklin St. to Van Ness Ave.
Schedule
Contract awarded : December 4, 2009.
Construction to begin: February 2010
Construction completion: June 2010.
Cost/Funding
Construction cost is $1,752,760. Construction is partially funded by The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA)
