Project Description
San Francisco Public Works has hired Sage Consulting Engineers, Inc. to construct new curb ramps at intersections throughout San Francisco. This project will include demolishing existing curb ramps & curbs, constructing new ADA-compliant curb ramps and reconstructing adjacent areas of the sidewalk and curb lane. The scope of work will include saw-cutting the sidewalk and gutter, removing concrete, framing and pouring concrete and placing asphalt in the gutter area.
Work will be taking place at the following intersections:
• Robblee Avenue and Thomas Avenue
• 26th Street and Rhode Island Street
• Virginia Avenue and Winfield Street
• Quint Street and Scotia Avenue
• 30th Avenue and Judah Street
• 8th Avenue and Moraga Street
• Ocean Avenue and Victoria Street
• Baker Street and Golden Gate Avenue
The installation of new curb ramps has generated minmal sewage work at these intersections:
• 30th Ave and Judah St.
• 8th Ave and Moraga St.
• Baker St. and Golden Gate Ave.
Note: Construction schedules, dates and durations are subject to change due to rain, equipment breakdown, unforeseen field conditions, existing utility conflicts, or crew availability.
Although there will be minimal restrictions to on-street parking, this project will not cause any street closures or interruptions in sewer service. During construction, traffic control will be implemented and "No Parking/Tow Away Zone" signs will be posted in active work areas. Local access for Residents, Deliveries and Emergency Services will be provided at all times during work hours.
