San Francisco Public works has hired Michael O'Shaughnessy Construction Inc. to carry out pavement renovation and sewage replacement throughout the city. This project is part of Various Locations Pavement Renovation and Sewage Replacement Project No. 79. Much of this work will involve grinding (removing existing asphalt), concrete road base reconstruction, ADA compliant curb ramp reconstruction, and sewer work.

Project VL#74 will impact Districts 5,6 and 10. Construction will take place along these roadways: Division St, Townsend St, De Haro St, Dodge St, Rhode Island St, 23rd St, Arkansas St, and Cesar Chavez St. 

Construction will begin in Winter 2025, currently this project is in the pre-construction phase. This website will be updated accordingly. Construction hours for VL#79 may vary by location, however, typical working hours are 7:30 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Weekend work is allowed but is not anticipated currently.
