To consider the removal of two (2) street trees with replacement adjacent to 2285 Jerrold St. One tree is on Jerrold, one is on the Barneveld Ave. frontage. Staff has approved the removal and the public has protested.
4. Hearing Order 206366
To consider the removal of one (1) street tree with replacement adjacent to 44 Surrey St. Staff has approved the removal and the public has protested.
5. Hearing Order 206367
To consider the removal of one (1) street tree with replacement adjacent to 46 Surrey St. Staff has approved the removal and the public has protested.
6. Hearing Order 206288
This Order supersedes Order No. 206287, which was generated internally but not issued publicly. To consider the removal of twenty-one (21) street trees with replacement as noted below on the 900 to 1100 blocks of Market St., between 5th to 8th Streets. This is part of Better Market Street – Phase I. Fifteen (15) of the trees are in poor condition and do not conflict with the proposed work. Six (6) trees conflict with new infrastructure alignments and utility placement.

• Removal of one (1) street tree at 923 Market Street (Site 2) with replacement.
• Removal of two (2) street trees at 929 Market Street (Site 1, 4) with replacement.

• Removal of one (1) street tree at 979 Market Street (Site 2) with replacement.
• Removal of one (1) street tree at 988 Market Street (Site 7) without replacement.
• Removal of two (2) street trees at 1000 Market Street (Site 2, 6) with replacement.
• Removal of two (2) street trees at 1005 Market Street (Site 1, 2) without replacement.
• Removal of one (1) street tree at 1066 Market Street (Site 1) with replacement.
• Removal of one (1) street tree at 1083 Market Street (Site 1) with replacement.

Persons unable to participate in the videoconference may submit written comments regarding the subject matter to Bureau of Urban Forestry at 49 South Van Ness Ave. Suite 1000, San Francisco, CA 94103 or urbanforestry@sfdpw.org. Comments received before the hearing will be brought to the attention of the hearing officer and made a part of the official public record. Individuals who wish to speak at the hearing and who want to use materials such as PowerPoint files, documents and photo images in their presentations must send the materials to Bureau of Urban Forestry via email at urbanforestry@sfdpw.org by 5 p.m. the day before the hearing. If attendees access the webinar via a computer, they will be able to share documents themselves via the “share screen” function.
