The Department of Public Works and other City agencies completed the following work during four Super Eco Blitzes held in August and September 2009:
50,160 square feet of graffiti removed
63 potholes repaired and 4,006 square feet of patch paving completed
60 bags of debris collected
44 blocks steam cleaned, 17 trash cans steam cleaned
511 residents and merchants received educational materials
99 residents and merchants signed up for the Adopt-A-Street program
53 tree basins filled with decomposed granite
8,140 pounds of household furniture collected through bulky item pick up
97 Parking signs cleaned, repaired or replaced
23 crosswalks repainted
376 curbs repainted to identify parking zones
50 fire hydrants repainted
48 traffic signals replaced or repaired
354 parking meters cleaned from graffiti or straightened
15 glass panels replaced on bus stops
23 bus stops had graffiti removed
