San Franciscans asked to Root for their City in the

American Express Tree Planting Challenge

San Francisco, CA -- With just over one week until the winner of the Root For Our City Challenge is decided, American Express and the City and County of San Francisco are asking the public to help win trees for San Francisco. Cardmembers may vote for their city with each purchase at a participating merchant. At the conclusion of the American Express Root For Our City Challenge on October 31, 2008, the city with the most votes from purchases by Cardmembers at participating merchants will receive the largest share of the $1 million grant to plant trees.
