Project Description

Under direction of the Department of Public Works, our contractor, Esquivel Grading & Paving, Inc. is scheduled to begin roadway renovations on Jones Street between Market Street and California Street. This work will begin the week of September 21, 2009 and completion is expected by the end of December 2009. This project will include the installation of new asphalt pavement, curbs and curb-ramps.

For Your Information

During Construction, expect a certain level of noise, dust and disruption from the excavation equipment. The contractor will try to minimize the impacts to area businesses and residents. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes to avoid delays.

Access to you business or property will be maintained at all times during construction.

Project Duration: 3 Months, September 2009- January 2010

Street Restrictions

Parking restrictions will apply in the construction zone during works hours. Access to private driveways and emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.

Bus lines will also remain unaffected.

Permissible Work Hours: Weekdays, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m.
