The main objective of this project is to replace the aged sewer-main on the aforementioned streets. There will also be some roadway, sidewalk, and curb repair/replacement. Each street will receive new asphalt pavement after the above tasks are complete. Work on your particular block will last approximately 3 to 4 weeks, while the overall project duration is 7 months.
As the project progresses there will be some minor disruptions such as limited parking and local traffic rerouting. Signs will be posted accordingly. Although some streets will need to be closed to thru-traffic during construction, access will be maintained to local traffic at all times. During construction, expect a certain level of noise, dust and disruption from the excavation equipment. Our construction team will do their best to minimize impacts to area businesses and residents. Access to private and commercial buildings will be maintained at all times.
In addition, there will be no disruptions to your sewer service during sewer replacement.
We ask that you please heed all construction signs and signals to help maintain a safe working environment. There will be limited parking during construction work hours ( 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Please see signs for exact work days, hours and locations as they may vary depending on the construction task.
Please observe parking and traffic signs and allow extra travel time in case of traffic delays during construction work. Street-cleaning parking restrictions will continue.
PROJECT DURATION
7-months from May -November 2012.
