Public Works Makes Repairs to Third Street Bridge

San Francisco--The Third Street Bridge between Berry Street and Terry Francois Boulevard will be closed between 9 am and 2 pm Monday through Friday throughout the month of March for deck repairs.

Motorists will be detoured around the bridge during work hours. Northbound traffic is encouraged to take Channel Street, 4th Street, King Street, then turn back to 3rd Street. Southbound traffic can take King Street, 4th Street, Channel Street, then back to Third Street.

Pedestrians walkways and bicycle lanes will be intermittently closed during noted work hours for safety reasons. Bicyclists and pedestrians are advised to use the Fourth Street Bridge.

Roadway, bicycle lanes, and pedestrian walkways will be open for traffic before 9 am and after 2 pm on weekdays and all day on weekends.
