Public Works Maintains Palm Trees on Market Street

San Francisco, Ca -The Department of Public Works is maintaining 49 Canary Palm Trees along Upper Market Street between Octavia Boulevard and Castro Street. Working from 7 am to 7 pm, 14 trained arborists and crew members from the department's Bureau of Urban Forestry are using five aerial trucks to remove dead fronds and lift up the canopy of the palm trees.
