Richland Avenue Bridge Traffic Railing Project
The Richland Avenue Rail Replacement Project is completed. The bridge is re-opened!
The Richland Avenue Bridge spans over San Jose Avenue which provides connection to downtown and the I-280 freeway. Beginning in April 2021 Public Works’ contractor crews began replacing the traffic railing along the Richland Avenue Bridge. Also, new street lighting was installed. Work was completed in mid-November 2021, ahead of schedule.
