Sunset District Sewer and Pavement Renovation Project
Public Works is making major roadway renovations along various streets in the Sunset District. The scope of work includes sewer-main replacement, lateral side sewer replacement as-needed, concrete base repair, and lastly asphalt pavement replacement There will be limited parking during construction work hours (7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Please see signs for exact work days, hours and locations as they may vary depending on the construction task. Please observe parking and traffic signs and allow extra travel time in case of traffic delays during construction work. Street-cleaning parking restrictions will continue. During construction, expect a certain level of noise, dust and disruption from the excavation equipment. Our construction team will do their best to minimize impacts to area businesses and residents Temporary street closures may be necessary at times, however driveway access to private and commercial buildings will be maintained at all times.
