Happening This Week 12/15/25 

Mason Street (O'Farrell Street to Ellis Street)

• Temporary pause on roadway repairs due to utility conflicts

Grove Street (Van Ness Ave. to Larkin Street)

• sidewalk replacement and roadway base repair continues through December 18th.

• Roadway paving is scheduled the week of January 5th and will take 3-days.

   

Jessie Street (6th Street to Mint Plaza)

• Sewer work is completed. Crews are preparing to renovated the roadway this week with base-repair and paving should be completed by Xmas

Project Description

San Francisco Public works has hired R&S Construction, Inc. to carry out pavement renovation and sewage replacement projects throughout the city. This project is part of Various Locations Pavement Renovation and Sewage Replacement Project #62.  The scope of work will include sewer replacement, concrete base reconstruction, roadway repaving and curb ramp reconstruction, making them ADA compliant.  Construction will begin Spring, 2025, currently this project is in the pre-construction phase. This website will be updated accordingly. Construction hours for VL#62 may vary by location, however, typical working hours are 7:00 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Weekend work is allowed but is not planned at this time.
