Public comment is encouraged. To comment in-person, follow the instructions as given by the Commission Chair. You can provide public comment either in-person or call in via phone. Each meeting agenda will have the call-in phone number, access code and instructions. Members of the public may comment on a specific item when it is heard or make comments related to Commission work during the general public comment item.

To contact the Commission or to submit a written public comment electronically, email publicworks.commission@sfdpw.org. Please note the Commission appreciates receiving written comments at least one day before a meeting, so they have a time to review and consider comments before the meeting.
Mission
San Francisco Public Works is one of the largest and most complex municipal operations in the City, with a 1,600-member workforce and a $384 million annual operating budget.
