How to get sandbags:
Public Works offers San Francisco residents and businesses up to 10 free sandbags to protect properties prone to flooding during severe rainstorms. Bring proof of address. While supplies last.
Please note that members of the public will need to load the sandbags into their vehicles on their own, with limited exceptions. Sandbags also are sold at many local hardware and home improvement stores.

Sandbag Saturdays
Public Works will host a series of neighborhood sandbag giveaways in November and December.
Limited to 10 sandbags per address. Please bring proof of address to show you live in
San Francisco or operate a business here.

Department and Rec and Park.
