DPW ABIDES BY HOLIDAY MORATORIUM ON

STREET CONTSTRUCTION PROJECTS

--Reducing impact to local restaurants and retailers

San Francisco, Ca. – As the official holiday season kicks off, the Department of Public Works will temporarily stop issuing street excavation permits along major commercial corridors to coincide with the yearly Holiday Moratorium. During this period, all paving and street construction projects are prohibited, and DPW will be acting in accordance with the moratorium. The routine moratorium reduces disruption and impacts to commercial businesses and shoppers.
