VOLUNTEERS WANTED
TO SPRUCE UP PORTSMOUTH SQUARE
San Francisco, Ca – The Department of Public Works (DPW) will host a volunteer cleanup event at Portsmouth Square on Saturday, April 28, from 9 am to 12 noon.
The Portsmouth Square cleanup is part of the Community Clean Team, a volunteer based multi-agency program. Volunteers will participate in greening, cleaning and beautification projects, which will include tree planting, weeding, litter pickup, playground restoration, and painting in Portsmouth Square.
DPW, the lead agency of the Community Clean Team program, encourages San Francisco residents to get involved in community events to help the City clean, green and beautify San Francisco.
