San Francisco Public Works has contracted with Esquivel Grading and Paving, Inc. to improve sewer utilities and renovate the roadway at various locations in San Francisco as part of the Various Locations Pavement Renovation and Sewer Replacement Project No. 85 (VL85). We will be performing this work in the Western Addition, Marina, Cow Hollow Laurel Heights, Outer Richmond, Haight Ashbury and Pacific Heights neighborhoods. 

San Francisco Public Works has contracted with Ronan Construction, Inc. to deliver the Various Locations Pavement Renovation No. 78 and Sewer Replacement Project, a neighborhood infrastructure improvement effort that will upgrade aging street and underground facilities at multiple locations throughout San Francisco.

This project will implement decorative asphalt to the intersection of Clement Street and 6^th Avenue. Located just north of Golden Gate Park and south of the Presidio, the Inner Richmond is surrounded by the most busy commercial and densely populated areas found in San Francisco. This project will help contribute to the revitalization of Clement Street for pedestrians and drivers — close to many businesses, shops, cafes, restaurants, homes and schools.

San Francisco Public Works has hired Michael O'Shaughnessy Construction, Inc. to complete infrastructure improvements on several blocks throughout the city as part of our Various Locations Pavement Renovations & Sewer Replacement Project #67B. This work will consist of roadway re-pavement, concrete base reconstruction, curb ramp construction, making them ADA compliant and sewer replacement work.

Overview: February 2026 Update

The City continues to move forward with traffic signal upgrades and accessibility improvements at key intersections. Over the next three weeks, crews will be focused on completing signal punch list items, coordinating with utility providers, and finalizing curb ramp installations.

These efforts aim to enhance pedestrian safety, improve traffic flow, and support accessibility for all street users.

Project Update (May 2024)
All work on this contract is almost complete. The contractor continues punch list work on this project. We anticipate the punch list work to be complete in June 2024.
