Various Locations Pavement Renovation and Sewer Replacement No. 59

San Francisco Public Works has contracted with Michael O’Shaughnessy Construction Inc. to install new sewer utilities and renovate the roadway at various locations in San Francisco as part of the Various Locations Pavement Renovation and Sewer Replacement Project No. 59 (VL59). We will be performing this work in the Central Bayview, Twin Peaks, Eureka Valley and Duboce Park neighborhoods. 

Various Locations Curb Ramps #10

San Francisco Public Works has hired R&S Construction Management, Inc. to construct new curb ramps at intersections throughout San Francisco. This project will include demolishing existing curb ramps & curbs, constructing new, ADA-compliant curb ramps and reconstructing adjacent areas of the sidewalk and curb lane. Work will be taking place at the following intersections:

Various Locations No. 47 - Pavement Renovations

San Francisco Public Works has contracted with Esquivel Grading & Paving, Inc. to renovate the roadway at various locations in neighborhoods as part of the Various Locations No. 47, Pavement Renovations Project. The scope of work will include sidewalk, curb ramp construction, concrete road base repair and final roadway paving.  The work under this contract will occur between November 2021 and June 2022.

Various Locations Pavement Renovation and Sewer Replacement No. 35

Project Description

San Francisco Public Works and the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission have partnered to complete infrastructure improvements on several neighborhood blocks.  Our partnership allows us to minimize impacts to the public by consolidating work whenever possible.

Clayton Street, Clipper Street and Portola Drive Pavement Renovation, Sewer Replacement and Water Main Installation

Project Description

San Francisco Public Works hired Con-Quest Contractors, Inc., to complete sewer main replacement, water main replacement and pavement renovation work on Clayton Street, Clipper Street and Portola Drive.  The work under this contract also included, new ADA curb ramps, new sidewalk, curb and gutter work.  

Diamond Heights Boulevard Improvements Project

San Francisco Public Works is making improvements along Diamond Heights Boulevard between Portola and Sussex streets to improve pedestrian safety and stormwater management. The project includes pavement renovation, curb construction, sidewalk replacement, and sewer and water managment improvements. The work will be completed in a series of phases, see the sample sequence below:

Eureka, Grand View and Mangels Pavement Renovation, Sewer Replacement and Water Main Installation Project

This project will involve the renovation and improvement of Eureka Street between 23rd Street and Market Street, Grand View Avenue between Clipper Street and Market Street, Mangels Avenue from Plymouth Avenue to Burnside Avenue and at various locations throughout San Francisco. Work activities to be performed on this project include, but are not limited to:

Road Repaving & Street Safety Bond

The $248 million Road Repaving and Street Safety Bond was approved by voters in November 2011. With it, the City is repaving streets in neighborhoods throughout San Francisco; repairing deteriorating bridges, overpasses and stairways; and making traffic, pedestrian and bicycle and safety improvements.
