Why do we need a new San Francisco Fire Department Division of Training?

The purpose of the San Francisco Fire Department Division of Training facility is to provide an upgraded training campus for firefighters and emergency medical technicians to meet the evolving needs of emergency responders in a 21st-century urban environment.

Project Update January 2025

• R&S Construction will pour the sidewalk at Cesar Chavez St & Sanchez St on Monday January 13th, completing all work at this intersection. 

• We are in our punch-list phase of this project.  By the end of this month there will not be any major construction on this project. 

   

Project Description

The Market and Octavia Living Alleys project aims to create a public realm that strengthens the community, creates a sense of identity and makes a more useful, safe and attractive neighborhood.
