Project Description
The Mission Street Pavement Renovation Projects seeks to address aging infrastructure along one of San Francisco’s busiest arterial routes. The project limits are Mission Street between Erie Street and Santa Marina Street.

This project will include sewer main replacement and/or rehabilitation, curb ramp work, bus pad installation, street base repairs and repaving along the project limits. Construction is anticipated to start in Fall 2027 with completion expected in Fall 2030.

In order to minimize any impacts associated with construction, and to ensure the entire limits aren’t under construction for the entire duration, this project will be completed in segments. A completion timeline will be placed on each segment to minimize the impact. There may be an overlap in segments as work is completed in one segment and starts on the next one. Note: The limits of each segment and the calendar day duration for each segment is still being finalized. We will update this webpage with this information once it becomes available.

During construction, we'll send e-updates to inform neighbors about upcoming scopes of work, possible impacts, weekend work, completed project milestones, etc. Neighbors interested in receiving e-updates could SIGN-UP HERE.
