Sacramento Street and Sansome Street Improvements

Project Description:

San Francisco Public Works has hired A. Ruiz Construction Co. & Associates, Inc. to conduct work at the intersection of Sacramento Street and Sansome Street for improvements.

 

Construction at the intersection will take up to a year to complete.  The scope of work at this location includes, repaving the intersection, reinstalling ADA compliant curb ramps, constructing 6-inch-wide concrete curbs, adding pedestrian guardrails, drainage work, and a traffic/pedestrian signal.

 

Various Locations Curb Ramps and Sub-Sidewalk Basements

San Francisco Public Works’ Curb Ramp Program is pleased to announce the Various Locations Curb Ramps and Sub-Sidewalk Basements project.  The project will be implementing various safety and infrastructure improvements, including curb ramp installation, traffic signal improvements, and new pedestrian lighting at Clay Street & Grant Avenue and Sutter Street & Stockton Street. The anticipated duration and scope of work can vary at each location.

Construction Updates


7/19/24: As of today, we have reached substantial completion on this project. This means that all planned paving, sewer, curb ramp and sidewalk has been completed, and we are now entering the closeout phase of the project. During the closeout phase, all work is re-inspected and minor fixes are performed by our contractor wherever necessary.
 

Various Locations Pavement Renovation and Sewer Replacement No. 58

Project Description

San Francisco Public Works has hired Bauman Landscaping Construction Inc. to complete work on the Various Locations Pavement Renovation No. 58 and Sewer Replacement Project. The work scope will focus on infrastructure and safety enhancements across multiple locations in San Francisco. Our collaboration aims to reduce public inconvenience by efficiently coordinating our efforts whenever possible.

Western Addition Traffic Signals Project

Project Description

San Francisco Public Works has partnered with SFMTA to upgrade traffic signal infrastructure at 16 intersections in the Western Addition Neighborhood. The scope of work includes wiring, Pedestrian Countdown Signals (PCS), Accessible Pedestrian Signals (APS) pushbuttons, vehicular signal heads, poles and mast-arms, and signal controllers. Additionally, curb ramp work, sidewalk work, curb and gutter work, median work, and local base repair and paving work is included in this contract.
