Potrero Gateway Project

Project Description
Completed in early 2025, the Potrero Gateway Project revitalized and reconnected the Potrero Hill neighborhood separated by US 101 by creating a gateway and providing a safe passageway under the freeway overpass along 17th Street from Vermont Street to San Bruno Avenue, and along Vermont Street between 17th and Mariposa Streets., locations on San Francisco’s Vision Zero High Injury Network.

As-Needed Main Sewer Replacement No. 7

Project Description

San Francisco Public Works and the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission have partnered to complete infrastructure improvements in San Francisco neighborhoods. Our partnership allows us to minimize impacts to the public by consolidating our work whenever possible. This project includes sewer main replacement, street base repairs and repaving.

Fillmore And Haight Street Intersection, AWSS, Sewer Replacement And Pavement Renovation Project

Project Update (Week of 12/14/2020)
SFWD is scheduled to begin pressure testing the new line AWSS line at the Haight/Fillmore intersection. Due to the scope of work, the line will be tested in the evening. The work is scheduled for the evening of Wednesday December 16, 2020 at 8 PM and is expected to conclude by 10 PM. On Thursday, crews will back-fill the trench and begin apply temporary pavement to the area. In January 2021, our contractor will return to schedule permanent paving at the intersection. 
 

Minna Natoma Streetscape Project

Project Status

 

The Minna–Natoma Streetscape Project continues to make steady progress as construction advances through the South Downtown neighborhood.

 

The construction team has successfully completed the sewer improvement work along Natoma Street, marking a significant milestone for the project. With this phase complete, crews have transitioned into the next stage of construction and are now performing roadway and utility improvements along Natoma Street and New Montgomery Street.

This project is almost complete. Only some minor punch list work remains.
