Project Description

San Francisco Public Works is scheduled to complete infrastructure improvements on several blocks throughout the city as part of our Various Locations Pavement Renovation #68 project. This project may include curb ramp installation, concrete street base repairs, grinding (removal of existing asphalt) and repaving.
 

Various Locations Curb Ramps and Sub-Sidewalk Basements

San Francisco Public Works’ Curb Ramp Program is pleased to announce the Various Locations Curb Ramps and Sub-Sidewalk Basements project.  The project will be implementing various safety and infrastructure improvements, including curb ramp installation, traffic signal improvements, and new pedestrian lighting at Clay Street & Grant Avenue and Sutter Street & Stockton Street. The anticipated duration and scope of work can vary at each location.

Project Update (Updated 3-14-25)
A few blocks on 24th Street are ready to be final paved. On Monday March 17th and Tuesday March 18th, crews will grind and repave 24th Street between Guerrero and Chattanooga streets. This phase of paving will take two days to complete.

 

Jane Warner Plaza Concept Vision

In partnership with District 8 Supervisor Rafael Mandelman’s Office, the San Francisco County Transportation Authority, and SFMTA, SF Public Works Bureau of Landscape Architecture has reimagined the new Jane Warner Plaza as a flexible community space that celebrates the life of the late, beloved community police officer, Jane Warner.
